Tumblebus
East Texas Preschool Gymnastics
A "Tumblebus" is a gym on wheels, filled with gymnastics and motor
development equipment. Cheerfully decorated, the "Tumblebus" provides
a unique and fun way for children to receive the physical fitness that is so
important to their development. Our "Tumblebus" program builds
self-esteem in children as they accomplish each physical skill in the lesson
plan. Instructors with a "special heart towards children" make the
experience memorable as well as educational.
MONTHLY TUITION
The monthly tuition of $28.00 is based on four lessons per month. The months
with five lessons will serve as make up for annual holidays. Tuition is due by
the first of each month. If not paid by the second scheduled class, your child
will receive a late notice and a $10.00 late fee will be charged. This policy
will be strictly enforced. If a student comes one time or four times, the monthly
tuition remains the same and must be paid in full. We do not operate on a
"pay when you come" basis. A two week notice is required when
dropping. There is a $20.00 charge for any returned checks.

10 Ways to Build on the Vital Early Years
1. 50% of a person's ability to learn is developed in the first four years of life.
2. Another 30% is developed by the 8th birthday.
3. Those vital years lay down the pathways on which all future learning is based.
4. After age 10, the branches that haven't made connections die off.
5. Youngsters are their own best educators, parents their first teachers.
6. Youngsters learn best by what they experience with all their senses, so stimulate these senses.
7. Our homes, beaches, forests, playgrounds, zoos, museums and adventure areas are the world's best schools.
8. Simple physical routines can help infants explode into learning.
9. Infants grow in a patterned way, so learn to build on that growth pattern.
10. Learning anything, including reading, writing, math and computers can and should be fun.
How We Teach the CompuChild Method
· We have developed proprietary teaching techniques important to the introductory computer education for Preschool age children.
· Our classes provide each individual child with a full 40 minutes of exposure to the computer. Working with a group of their peers, they are comfortable learning the basic aspects of a computer through our "3-Tiered Learning System" of Educational Software, Hardware, and Operating System.
· The methods we have developed to provide instruction include: Teacher Instruction, Observation Learning, and Direct Hands-On Involvement.
· With our regularly scheduled classes, each child will be prepared in the basic use of a computer and will be properly prepared to enter Elementary school.
What the Children Learn
· CompuChild's unique 3-Tiered Preschool computer learning system utilizing "emphasis points" provides 3-5 year olds with an affordable, educational and entertaining experience.
· Our classes are very hands-on, interactive and fast-paced. We realize this age group learns best while working with a group of their peers in a fun environment.
· Special attention is given to each child and each unique personality. Our classes are designed to last 35-40 minutes based on the attention span for this age group.
The
CompuChild System
Our professionally developed Preschool computer
education system entertains and educates children
while concentrating on the following:
1.
Computer Hardware
Children are introduced to the hardware aspects of the computer using our
special child-friendly equipment. They learn names, functions and capabilities
of basic computer components.
2.
Operating System
The premier operating system is Windows which we use to provide a fun way to navigate
throughout the computer operation and software.
3.
Educational Software
New software is used on a continuing basis to provide educational and
interesting classes. The software exposes the children to various preschool
subject matters to assist with their learning development.
*Emphasis Points*
Different hardware and operating system areas are continually emphasized to
provide new and exciting aspects of the computer to the children.
